Our online spring sessions were a great success with committed tutors and students, and some students coming daily to receive one-hour math tutoring. When the online spring sessions is coming to the end, we still see new students joining. Seeing the demand for more academic help, we've decided to continue to run an online free math tutoring session for students grades k-8th from June 14, 2021 to August 6, 2021.
If your child is interested in attending our summer tutoring sessions, please fill out the summer student sign-up form.
We've got a lot of passionate high school/middle school volunteers (age 13+) to join Math Matters organization to help our community by supporting young students and families. If you are interested in joining us as a tutor, please fill out the summer tutor sign-up form.
A non-academic summer can usually cause students at every grade level to digress two to three months in their academic skills, not to mention the difficulty they have faced during the Emergency Distance Learning (EDL). Working on math just two to three hours per week during the summer can prevent students' mathematical skills from getting rusty. We hope to provide this online tutoring to help students of all ages to close the gaps in their math skills, preserve the knowledge they learned during the previous school year, and prepare for the next.
Our online summer session will be run using the same format as the spring session through Zoom meeting. More details about our zoom meeting can be found at the Online Sessions page.
If you have any questions regarding our summer tutoring session, please feel free to contact us.
